During my time on a FBI Cybercrimes Task Force, we indirectly worked on the Anonymous hacking group and it’s Phoenix, AZ nexus. Our task force made an arrest of one Anonymous hacker that was living in Apache Junction, AZ as part of this investigation.

This discussion is super interesting to me, given what background information I know. It’s also an interesting discussion about cybercrime and how they are investigated. One thing to pay attention to, anyone that does cybercrimes investigations and tells you they identify suspects through super high-tech means is full of shit. Law Enforcement finds hacking suspect through basic investigative measures most of the time because online criminals are not half as smart as they believe they are.
