As Arizona State starts their 2023 football season tonight, here is the current state of the program, which I can honestly say I don’t care about any more. After years of cheating under former coach Herm Edwards, they will not attend a bowl game this season. Most of their high ranked players jumped ship due to all the past bullshit. Sun Devil Stadium has been renamed because, I guess, the school needs more money. The PAC-12 lost all there important teams and the conference will be no more after this year. They are starting a freshman at QB, who is not ready, because they know if they don’t make him happy he will take NIL money and jet from the program next season. It’s 114 today, it will be 98 degrees tonight, so they will be lucky to get 20,000 fans at tonight’s game. There is no local TV coverage, so, unless they get games picked up nationally, nobody will see them play. These are all ways to alienate your fan base and ensure what fans you had, won’t have much rooting interest in the team.
