Here is a recent OIC involving Chicago PD. Both officers are being charged with felonies. It is being portrayed in the media as “poor, unarmed, innocent black guy is shot by police for walking down the street.” Many of the FACTS, as have been released by the PD and prosecutors, have not been mentioned in any of the media coverage. Shocking, I know. One, both officers reported the guy in the black shirt brandished a handgun and pointed it at them prior to what is captured on video. Both officers most have decided to kill an innocent black person at the exact same time, as they both drew their weapons and fired at the suspect within milliseconds of each other or, is it more reasonable that both perceived the same threat at the same time which caused their actions? There is no mention that the suspect in white, who was found to be unarmed, prior to the shooting, removed a black object from his pants and pointed it at officers (which is captured on video). Also not mentioned is that magically, just magically, as the guy in the black runs out of camera view, a series of gunshots are directed at the officers, which causes the first officer to instinctively duck. Oh yea, and they caught the shithead in black with a gun on his person that matched the description of the very gun officers said they saw. So, I guess these two officers just decided to open fire on two black guys for no reason and the poor innocent guy that didn’t get shot just happened to have a gun on him. What a coincidence! Why would anyone be a cop today when it appears that the standard is cops need to either be shot at, or hit by bullets, in order for deadly force to be justified . . . if the suspect is black?
